Júlia Morell is a freelance illustrator working across editorial and conceptual illustration. Her practice centres on visual storytelling, translating complex social, cultural, and political ideas into clear and engaging imagery. Through bold compositions, graphic forms, and collage-inspired textures, she creates work that communicates through metaphor and narrative.

She has produced editorial illustrations for publications including The Daily Telegraph and The Financial Times, responding to topics ranging from environmental issues and digital culture to contemporary social commentary. Her practice spans commissioned projects as well as independent work.

Alongside illustration, Júlia writes and curates, expanding her approach to storytelling through text and curated visual narratives.

Originally from Barcelona and currently based between London and Barcelona, she collaborates with editorial art directors, publishers, and cultural organisations internationally. In parallel with commissioned work, she develops personal projects that extend her visual language through conceptual series and narrative exploration.

Her work aims to make complex ideas accessible through images that are both thoughtful and visually distinctive.
